AutoCAD Design
AutoCAD is a software application intended for 2D and 3D computer aided design/drafting (CAD). A draftsman can use AutoCAD to develop a wide variety of different drawings, such as structural design plans, chutes, conveyors, etc. The list is endless.
3D Solidworks Modelling
3D solid modelling is a fundamental feature in today’s industrial design applications. Here at NEM Group we use a program called SolidWorks, and it is completely based around 3D computer aided design. Similar to AutoCAD, a draftsman will use SolidWorks to develop and simulate a range of different designs/drawings which can be a lot easier to interpret as a 3-dimensional model.
Engineering Design
The engineering design process is the formulation of a plan to help an engineer build a product with a specified performance goal. This process involves a number of steps, and parts of the process may need to be repeated many times before production of a final product can begin.
3D Laser Scanning
Is available as a service for reverse engineering and structure scanning.
